CHRP Exams
The Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is a national standard administered by the provincial human resources associations who are CCHRA members. This registration form is for members who wish to register for the National Knowledge Exam or the National Professional Practice Assessment. You must be a member of HRPNL to register for the exam. Both exams are offered on the first Saturday in May and October of every year. There are no prerequisites to write the National Knowledge Exam. Those who pass the National Knowledge Exam can call themselves a CHRP Candidate. To be eligible to write the National Professional Practice Assessment, applicants must have passed the National Knowledge Exam. It is highly recommended that applicants also have 3-5 years of working experience in human resources. A degree requirement will be in place to write the NPPA for the 2011 exams.
